The following list of banks in Sweden is to be understood within the framework of the European single market, which means that Sweden's banking system is more open to cross-border banking operations than peers outside of the European Union. It is based on the list of Swedish monetary financial institutions as updated on 7 January 2026 and published by the Sveriges Riksbank, the country's central bank.
