2020 census As of the
2020 census, the county had a population of 937. Of the residents, 22.1% were under the age of 18 and 26.4% were 65 years of age or older; the median age was 47.8 years. The median income for a household in the county was $40,417 and the median income for a family was $51,354. Males had a median income of $43,438 versus $24,821 for females.
