2020 census As of the
2020 census, Long Creek had a population of 173. The median age was 48.5 years. 24.3% of residents were under the age of 18 and 30.1% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 101.2 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 114.8 males age 18 and over. 0% of residents lived in urban areas, while 100.0% lived in rural areas. There were 67 households in Long Creek, of which 25.4% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 50.7% were married-couple households, 23.9% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 19.4% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. There were 96 households, out of which 31.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.1% were married couples living together, 8.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.5% were non-families. 30.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 2.93. In the city, the population was spread out, with 27.2% under the age of 18, 3.9% from 18 to 24, 28.5% from 25 to 44, 24.1% from 45 to 64, and 16.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females, there were 96.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102.4 males. The median income for a household in the city was $31,250, and the median income for a family was $33,393. Males had a median income of $29,583 versus $16,875 for females. The
