2009 Malaysia FA Cup

The Piala FA competition has reverted to the old format of play with no more open draws. It will comprise 29 teams — 15 Super League and 14 Premier League sides — with defending champions Kedah FA, Selangor FA and Terengganu FA receiving byes in the first round. Kedah FA, who won back-to-back trebles, will play the winner of the match between Proton FC and UPB-MyTeam FC in the second round. ==First round==
