One Spoon of Chocolate

Unique is a vet who just finished a stretch in upstate New York. He’s looking for a quiet life, so he heads back to Karenville, Ohio, to move in with his cousin Ramsee and claim his half of the family home. But he quickly realizes he hasn't traded prison for freedom—he’s traded it for a graveyard. The town is a "sundown" trap run by a racist sheriff, McLeoud, with a stomach-turning side business: selling the organs of Black men. His son, Jimmy, is the muscle, leading a pack of lunatics who roam the streets at night with baseball bats. They hunt down anyone they catch alone, starting with Unique’s other cousin, Lonnie, a star athlete whose "disappearance" is the first red flag. Once the bats finish the job, the town doctor steps in to harvest the "merchandise." Unique tries to stay invisible for the sake of his family. He starts getting close to Darla, the best friend of Ramsee’s girlfriend, who promises him there’s a version of his life that doesn't involve looking over his shoulder. But the peace is shattered when the syndicate finally comes for Ramsee. With both his cousins gone, Unique realizes he can’t file a report with a sheriff who’s holding the knife. Once the sheriff informed officer beam that his parole hasn't checked jn with his Ohio PO beam over hears the sheriff reveal the towns secret. Worried for his parolee beam heads to the small town to save them from unique possible wrath of anger. Unique taps back into his military training. He stops running and starts hunting. He goes to Jimmy and his gang hideout at Local town members only clubhouse and turns it into a slaughterhouse, cutting through the gang until it's just him and Jimmy left in the dark. Outside, the building is surrounded by the sheriff’s deputies and his P.O. Unique knows the sheriff isn't there to make an arrest; he's there to bury the evidence. Realizing he's not walking out of this alive, Unique decides to finish the job on his own terms. One final shot rings out from inside; Unique takes Jimmy off the board, making sure the sheriff's legacy dies along with his own. ==Cast==
