Medina is located at the intersection of
Texas State Highway 16 and Farm to Market Road 337, northwest of
Bandera in central Bandera County. The town is also located at the source of the namesake
Medina River, where it splits into the North and West Prongs.
Climate The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the
Köppen Climate Classification system, Medina has a
