hits. He started with the Houston Astros, but was sent down to their Triple-A affiliate, the
Round Rock Express, on June 2, 2006, after compiling a 1-2 record and a 6.06 ERA in 16.1 innings pitched. In 2006, he was on the Italian baseball team in the
World Baseball Classic. On December 18, 2006, he signed a minor league deal with the
