Brazil returned to the calendar after a 21-year absence. The last race held in the country took place in 2004 at the
Jacarepaguá Circuit in Rio de Janeiro, where it was known as the
Rio de Janeiro Grand Prix. • The
Argentine Grand Prix will not be returning to the calendar in 2026, as the organisers have confirmed in a statement, aiming to return in 2027. The Argentine Grand Prix came back onto the calendar in 2014 at the new
Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo venue, having previously been held on and off in
Buenos Aires between
1961 and
1999. However on 21 July 2025, Dorna announced that the Argentine Grand Prix would have a new home starting in the 2027 season. Work is currently underway to return to the
Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez. • Due to the ongoing
Iran war, the
Qatar Grand Prix, originally scheduled for 12 April, was postponed to November 8. The Portuguese and Valencian Grands Prix were also rescheduled to a week later. ==Results and standings==
