Muhammad Abdul Malek is a 21st-century Islamic scholar from Bangladesh, known for his expertise in Hadith studies and Hanafi jurisprudence. He is the current Khatib of Baitul Mukarram, Bangladesh's national mosque. Trained under Taqi Usmani and Abd al-Fattah Abu Ghudda, he co-founded Markazud Dawah Al-Islamia, an advanced institution specializing in the study of Hadith and Islamic jurisprudence. There, he serves as the education secretary and leads the Department of Hadith. His 1998 publication, Al-Madkhal, is widely used as an introductory text in Hadith studies. He has been part of national and international scholarly bodies, including the Islamic Fiqh Academy and the Bangladesh Qawmi Madrasa Education Commission. He is also involved in the editorial direction of Alkawsar, a research-oriented Islamic monthly published in Dhaka.
