In the
Principality of Guria, they held the hereditary office of Receivers of Ambassadors, as well as the bailiffship (
mouravi) of
Shemokmedi,
Ozurgeti, and
Chochkhati. After the
Russian annexation of Guria (1828), the family was received among the
