Section 1 of the act repealed 6 enactments, listed in that section, effective 25 December 1749. The Select Committee on Temporary Laws described this act as a Consolidation Act. The whole act, so far as unrepealed, was repealed by section 86 of, and schedule to, the Naval Discipline Act 1860 (23 & 24 Vict. c. 123). == See also ==
