Bettan began his music career at the end of his military service in the
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and, in 2018, came in third place on the program "
Aviv or Eyal". In 2022 and 2023, Bettan released new songs and his debut album, "Me'al HaMayim," featuring the single "Buba," which reached third place on the Galgalatz radio charts. In 2023, he also released "Sakin BaLev" and "Lahzor HaBaita." In 2024, Bettan participated in tribute projects and released the single "Pokeach Einayim," based on a poem by an Israeli soldier, Yaron Oree Shay, who was killed in the
October 7 attacks. His entry for the event, "Michelle", was released on 5 March, and included Israel's representative from the previous year,
Yuval Raphael, as a co-writer. Speaking ahead of the contest about representing Israel admist
controversy over the country's participation due to the
