In 2022, WPPO initiated a new "total lift" medal, awarded for the sum of all good lifts from the three attempts. Before 2022 medal awarded only in Best lifts. Since 2022 medal awarded in best lifts and total lifts. The World Para-powerlifting 2022 Asia Oceania Open Championships was held in Pyeongtaek, Korea from 15 – 20 June, 2022.
