Penn Quakers baseball

The Penn Quakers baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The team is a member of the Ivy League, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The team plays its home games at Meiklejohn Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Quakers are coached by John Yurkow.

History
19th century The University of Pennsylvania's first baseball team was fielded in 1875. 20th century The Quakers won four championships in the Eastern Intercollegiate Baseball League, a baseball-only conference that existed from 1930 to 1992, which consisted of the eight Ivy League schools and Army and Navy. Penn baseball has won two Ivy League title and has advanced to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship six times. 21st century In 2023, the fourth-seeded Penn team twice defeated third-seeded Cornell to win the program's second consecutive Ivy League Tournament title and earn a berth into the NCAA regional. ==Postseason==
