The average household size was 2.50 and the average family size was 2.93. Within the township, the population was spread out, with 23.7% of residents who were under the age of eighteen, 6.7% who were aged eighteen to twenty-four, 26.1% who were aged twenty-five to sixty-four, 29.7% who were aged forty-five to sixty-four, and 13.8% who were sixty-five years of age or older.
