The whole act was repealed by section 96(1) of, and the part I of schedule 3 to, the National Savings Bank Act 1971 (2 & 3 Eliz. 2. c. 63). Section 29(2) of that act provided that the repeal would take effect on 12 June 1971. == Notes ==
