The State Attorney's Office is headed by the
State Attorney (), who is appointed by the
Government for the period of four years and can be reappointed. The State Attorney has 25 deputies, which are also appointed by the Government. The State Attorney is responsible for his/her work and the work of the State Attorney's Office to the Government, while the deputies are responsible to the State Attorney.
