Sheptytskyi Monastery

The Sheptytskyi Monastery of St. George was founded by the Order of St. Basil the Great in the city of Krystopil in 1763 thanks to the initiative of Franciszek Salezy Potocki, Voivode of Belz. This monastery is famous for its magnificent Baroque church, which houses a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary that attracts many pilgrims.
