He taught at Shri Ram High School,
Sitamau, from 1926 to 1928 and again from 1930 to 1933. He was appointed as a
judge of the
High Court of
Sitamau in 1932 and served in this role until 1940. In 1934, he was given charge of the
Sitamau state's departments of revenue, education, police, health, and local self-government. He remained in charge of these departments until 1938. He was commissioned as a
Captain in the Observer Corps of the
Indian Army in 1941 and was promoted to
Major in 1942. He resigned his commission and retired from the army in 1945. == Personal life ==
