2020 census, Raytown had a population of 30,012 and contained 12,597 households and 7,019 families; the population density was 3,022.4 per square mile (1,166.9/km). The median age was 40.7 years. 21.3% of residents were under the age of 18 and 18.1% were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 88.4 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 85.6 males age 18 and over.
