San Giovanni delle Contee is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Sorano, province of Grosseto, in the tuff area of southern Maremma. At the time of the 2001 census its population amounted to 224.
• Santa Caterina delle Ruote (17th century), main church of the village, it was built as a pieve (pieve di San Giovanni) in the Middle Ages and entirely re-built in the 17th century. • Casa Reale, one of the oldest buildings in the village, it was the seat of the Ottieris in San Giovanni delle Contee. == References ==
