San Michele all'Adige is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Trento.

San Michele lies along the Via Claudia Augusta, the historic Roman road connecting Italy to Germany, and is one of the principal areas for the production of Teroldego grapes under the Italian DOC standard. The dates to 1144, while the just north of San Michele dates to at least 1238. ==See also==
