2024–25 SDHL season

Skellefteå AIK earned promotion to the SDHL after defeating AIK in the 2024 (). AIK Hockey were subsequently relegated to the Nationella Damhockeyligan (NDHL) after sixteen seasons in the SDHL and two Swedish Championship victories (2009 and 2013). ==Preseason==

The preseason began on 9 August 2024 and concluded on 8 September 2024. It primarily comprised exhibition games played between SDHL teams, though three SDHL teams played a match or more against a team from outside of the league.
