Sodus Center is a hamlet in the Town of Sodus, Wayne County, New York, United States. Located approximately 4 miles southeast of the Village of Sodus, the community developed during the early nineteenth century as an inland agricultural crossroads serving farms expanding away from the Lake Ontario shoreline. The hamlet sits at an elevation of approximately 417 feet above sea level and is centered at the intersection of Sodus Center Road, Barclay Road, and Main Street.

History
Sodus Center developed during the early nineteenth century as agricultural settlement expanded inland from Lake Ontario. A Baptist congregation was organized in 1810 under the leadership of Elder Seba Norton. Construction of the Red Brick Church began in 1824, and the first meeting in the completed building was held in 1826. == Geography ==
