The North American Family Campers Association (NAFCA) is a non-profit family camping association. NAFCA is built on a structure of volunteers who hold offices to create a form of government. NAFCA is an international organization that has members throughout the United States and Canada. The 'full board' consists of President, Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, State Directors and Past President. Each State has a 'state director', 'secretary', 'treasurer', and 'deputies'. Chapters can range in size and are organized by their officers 'president', 'vice president', 'secretary', 'treasurer', and delegates. NAFCA was formed in 1957 at Otter River State Forest in Baldwinville, MA. Once called NECA, in 1967 as the North American Family Campers Association was renamed.
