Of all households, 49.5% were married-couple households, 18.0% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 26.6% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. In the county, the population was spread out, with 25.00% under the age of 18, 8.40% from 18 to 24, 29.00% from 25 to 44, 23.40% from 45 to 64, and 14.20% who were 65 years of age or older.
