World Championships In 2004 Glasson became world singles champion when he won a gold medal at the
2004 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Scotland, becoming the first Australian to be world number one in men's singles.
Asia Pacific Championships He won eight medals at the
Asia Pacific Bowls Championships including two gold medals.
National Glasson won the Australian National Indoor championship nine times (1994, 1997–1999, 2001–2005). He was the number one ranked player in Australia between 1997 and 2005.
Commonwealth Games Glasson competed in the singles at the
1998 Commonwealth Games and
2002 Commonwealth Games. He was omitted from the Australian team for the
2006 Commonwealth Games after a dispute over fitness requirements set down by
Bowls Australia. Bowls Australia claimed that poor form had also been a contributory factor. ==Coaching career==
