2020 census As of the
2020 census, Sudley had a population of 19,008. The median age was 32.9 years. 27.5% of residents were under the age of 18 and 9.4% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 101.9 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 102.8 males age 18 and over. There were 5,490 households in Sudley, of which 45.1% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 50.5% were married-couple households, 18.7% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 24.0% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. About 18.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. There were 5,673 housing units, of which 3.2% were vacant. The homeowner vacancy rate was 1.0% and the rental vacancy rate was 5.6%.

The average household size was 2.92 and the average family size was 3.30. In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 29.1% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 35.1% from 25 to 44, 22.4% from 45 to 64, and 4.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females, there were 98.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.7 males. The median income for a household in the CDP was $67,033, and the median income for a family was $67,246. Males had a median income of $46,196 versus $32,038 for females. The
