Governors receive ₹350,000 (US$3,700). The Chief Justice of India earns ₹280,000 (US$3,000) while Supreme Court judges receive ₹250,000 (US$2,600). Members of Parliament have a base salary of ₹124,000 (US$1,300) plus other allowances.

The daily allowance has also been revised to ₹2,500 per day, while the pension has been increased from ₹25,000 to ₹31,000 per month.
