The men's 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay event at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 27 July 2024 at Paris La Défense Arena, which was converted to a swimming pool for the swimming events.

Background
The United States won the event at the previous Olympics, and won the event at the 2022 World Championships. Australia won the event at the 2023 World Championships and China won it at the 2024 World Championships. In the heats (preliminary rounds) of the 2023 World Championships, Great Britain registered the fastest time but were disqualified due to one of their swimmers starting just before the other one finished. Both SwimSwam and Swimming World predicted the US would win, Great Britain would come second and Australia would come third.
