California Chrome in 2015, with the intent of racing him in 2016 then retiring him in 2017. He was retired after his run in the inaugural
Pegasus World Cup. In 2019, the horse's syndicate agreed to sell him to a Japanese group, and he was moved to Japan, where he now stands.
