Tetrahymanol synthase (EC 4.2.1.123, squalene tetrahymanol cyclase) is an enzyme with systematic name squalene hydro-lyase (tetrahymanol forming). This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reactiontetrahymanol squalene + H2O
