The film was produced by Princeps, Italian International Film and Medusa. Its working title was Le belve – io corrompo, tu corrompi, egli corrompe ('The beasts - I corrupt, you corrupt, he corrupts'). Initially, Edwige Fenech was announced to be part of the cast.
