Despite a rocky start, Zen X and Nano come to love each other and he recalls his master's final command, in the face of the apocalypse, for Zen X to adopt his name and continue to live as a human. Nano accepts Jimmu's offer to join the AGP Club, becoming their craftsman. > 024: Agera cooks pork and beans with an added sausage bonus. Jimmu vows to protect Nano as the sole survivor of a lost civilization, rescuing him that night from a desperado raid; Nano realizes there was an entire steam-powered civilization that rose and fell in between the present and his last memories. > 025: Jimmu builds a rudimentary house for his new friend Nano. Because the Devil's Canyon killings have continued, the AGP Club return, facing a turret on humanoid legs. Nano's stellarator is destroyed by its first shot. > 026: While Nano is volunteered (without his consent) as a decoy, the others attack the cyborg turret with rocks, knives, and explosives, but it remains a threat. > 027: The cyborg discharges a powerful laser, scoring a glancing hit on Mira, and then deploys three flying drones while it recharges. Agera, Jimmu, and Nano each take down a drone. Nano is down to 20 minutes remaining on his battery, and Jimmu mildly chides his recklessness. -------- -->
