2020 census As of the
2020 census, Tuckerman had a population of 1,707. There were 730 households and 537 families in the city. The median age was 39.0 years. 25.2% of residents were under the age of 18 and 17.4% were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females, there were 94.4 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.2 males. Of the city's 730 households, 30.0% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 41.8% were married-couple households, 20.8% had a male householder with no spouse or partner present, and 31.6% had a female householder with no spouse or partner present.
