The name Kai-tak has been used for four tropical cyclones in the western North Pacific Ocean. The name was contributed by Hong Kong and refers to Kai Tak Airport, the city's former airport that was discontinued in 1998.Typhoon Kai-tak (2000) – brushed the coasts of mainland China and Taiwan.
