2020 census As of the
2020 census, the county had a population of 238,267 and 62,932 families residing in the county. The median age was 38.9 years, with 27.0% of residents under the age of 18 and 13.3% of residents 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 96.7 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 93.8 males age 18 and over. There were 80,167 households in the county, of which 41.9% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 63.6% were married-couple households, 12.1% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 19.7% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present.
