Visitors to Burundi may obtain a visa on arrival or Online Visa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.

Ordinary passports Holders of ordinary passports of the following countries may enter Burundi without a visa for up to 3 months: 1 – Also for Economic Community of the Great Lakes Countries laissez-passer holders. According to the Hong Kong Immigration Department, citizens of Hong Kong can enter Burundi without a visa for 14 days. Non-ordinary passports • Holders of diplomatic, official or service passports of Brazil, Hong Kong (14 days), Mainland China, and Singapore do not require a visa for up to 30 days (unless otherwise stated). • Holders of diplomatic or service passports of Russia and holders of diplomatic passports of Turkey do not require a visa for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. • Holders of passports for public affairs of Mainland China do not require a visa for up to 30 days. ==Visa on arrival==
