Population At the time of the 2006 National Census, Zazeran's population was 7,670 in 2,003 households, when it was a village in
Zazeran Rural District of the
Central District. The following census in 2011 counted 8,151 people in 2,335 households. The 2016 census measured the population as 7,962 people in 2,452 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Qahderijan District, and the village of Zazeran had been elevated to the status of a city. ==Transportation==
