Zini made his national team debut in
2019 at the
U-17 World Cup in
Brazil (the country's first appearance). His first match was against
New Zealand in the opening round, where he scored within 6 minutes, helping Angola win 2-1. In the second game, he scored again
Canada; despite the difficulties Angola won 2-1 with a goal from
David Nzanza at 90+4 minutes. In the final group match, Angola lost 2-0 to Brazil, and in the round of 16, they were eliminated after a 1-0 loss against
South Korea, with Zini participating in all matches. Zini didn't shine alone in this tournament; he had players like
Zito Luvumbo,
David Nzanza,
Capita, and others by his side so far, it has been the best campain in the history of Angola's national football team matching the
2001 U-20 World Cup perfomence. In December 2023, Zini was named in the
Angola's squad for the
2023 Africa Cup of Nations. However, he was ruled out of the
2025 Africa Cup of Nations with an injury and replaced by
