Background A DFS Heavyweight Championship rematch between the current champion Ionuț Iancu and Ștefan Lătescu was slated to serve as the event headliner. They previously met at Dynamite Fighting Show 8, where Iancu won by split decision. A welterweight bout between the former Colosseum Tournament champion Florin Lambagiu and former Enfusion champion Robin Ciric would have served as the co-main event.
