Maverick, Saratoga Springs serves as the primary setting of the season 3 episode "Maverick Springs" in which Bret Maverick, played by

time capsule from 2015 is unearthed out of Saratoga Springs approximately 400 years in the future by the ship's crew. One of the items contributed is a

Food • It is believed that the
club sandwich was invented in the
Canfield Casino in 1894. • A legend claims that

Moon's Lake House on Saratoga Lake by
George Crum in 1854, in response to a customer's constant remarks about his french fries being cut too thick. However, the first recorded recipe appears in
