2020 census, Lake Clarke Shores had a population of 3,564. The median age was 46.1 years. 19.0% of residents were under the age of 18 and 20.7% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 93.2 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 91.0 males age 18 and over. 100.0% of residents lived in urban areas, while 0.0% lived in rural areas. There were 1,414 households in Lake Clarke Shores, of which 31.0% had children under the age of 18 living in them. Of all households, 55.8% were married-couple households, 12.4% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 24.3% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. About 20.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

For every 100 males, there were 107 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 93.5 females. Around 25.7% of the households in 2010 had children under the age of 18 living with them, 22.4% were married couples living together, 9.7% had a female householder with no spouse present, and 31.0% were not families. About 23.4% of all households were made up of one individual, and 32.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.42, and the average family size was 2.87.
