Map of major lakes
The map shows the locations of the lakes with a volume over 4 million m3 and gives an indication of the volume of water in each lake. The markers suggest this by showing the size of a drop of water where the volume of the drop would be in proportion to the quantity of water in the lake (the diameter of the drop is proportional to the cube root of the lake's volume). {{location map+|United Kingdom Lake District|relief=1|width=640|maplink=|float=center|caption=|places= {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District {{location map~|United Kingdom Lake District == Lakes, tarns and reservoirs ==
