At the 2010 census, of the 162,530 households, 36.2% had children under 18 living with them, 59.5% were married couples living together, 10.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 25.3% were not families. About 20.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.5% had someone living alone who was 65 or older. The average household size was 2.78 and the average family size was 3.22. In the county, the age distributiob was 27.6% under 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 27.4% from 25 to 44, 26.6% from 45 to 64, and 10.4% who were 65 or older. The median age was 36.1 years.
