2020 census, Reedley had a population of 25,227 and a population density of . The median age was 32.4 years. 29.2% of residents were under the age of 18, 11.0% were aged 18 to 24, 25.2% were aged 25 to 44, 21.3% were aged 45 to 64, and 13.3% were 65 years of age or older. The census reported that 97.8% of the population lived in households, 1.4% lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and 0.8% were institutionalized. cohabiting-couple households, 14.0% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 24.7% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present.
