The 1st district is based in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia, including all of
Bucks County and parts of
Montgomery County. The district was mostly unchanged by redistricting. It has an even
PVI and voted for Joe Biden by 5 points in 2020. Republican
Brian Fitzpatrick, who had represented the district since 2017, was most recently re-elected in 2022 with 54.9% of the vote.
