Casting Due to Izhar Qazi's striking resemblance with Indian film actor Amitabh Bachchan, he immediately caught the attention of Fatima Surayya Bajia who wanted to cast a newcomer for this role, which marked his acting debut. Mehreen Ilahi was finalised to portrayed the titular Anna, who got the role after being spotted by Bajiya, at her sister's boutique. Despite initial disapproval from her mother due to her studying abroad, Mehreen landed the lead role with her mother's eventual consent. ==Accolades==
