Racial and ethnic composition 2020 census As of the
2020 census, Bridgeton had a population of 11,445, with 4,595 households and 3,024 families. The population density was 786.6 per square mile (303.7/km). The median age was 41.5 years. 22.4% of residents were under the age of 18 and 21.2% of residents were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 88.7 males, and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 84.2 males age 18 and over.
